Review - Pure Freedom Trolley
This is what Pure Freedom write about the Pure Freedom 25litre trolley: Pure Freedom 25 Litre Trolley withCharger https://purefreedom.co.uk The Pure Freedom® 25 Litre Trolley is the original market leading portable water fed pole trolley. It has been designed, built and developed by our engineers with professional window cleaners in mind.
Honest Review From Professionals
Is the Pure freedom trolley worth the money?... I’m not sure...
Don’t get me wrong, it is a pretty good solid portable WFP system. If you have not tried one before you will be surprised how versatile and robust this trolley system for window cleaning is. The Pure Freedom Trolley a WPF system we have used with our Gardiner pole on a number of jobs, in fact my very first Pure Freedom trolley that I have had for over 8 years still works! We have used the Pure Freedom trolley in London and window cleaning in Surrey and Middlesex.
We will mark the Pure Freedom trolley in the above 4 categories out of 10. Reliability- Pure Freedom Trolley
The Pure Freedom 25 litre trolley is well built and reliable. Like we have already mentioned we have been using one for years. It is designed so when you need to replace the battery you can easily but the battery will last a long time, it also comes with a charger and we would recommend charging at the end of your work day so you keep the battery full instead of letting the battery go down to minimum. 9/10
Durability- Pure Freedom Trolley
The Pure Freedom 25 litre trolley will last all day and even 3 days without having to charge. The pump is a good one and will last, of course you need to look after it and not put chemicals through the system only pure water. Replacing any part is designed to be easy. 9/10
Practicality- Pure Freedom Trolley
The Pure Freedom 25 litre trolley is heavy. Not sure of the actual weight but it is made of a metal frame. It is awkward to lift in and out of a car or van. And do not try to lift it with a 25l barrel of water attached to it! The battery, flow control and pump are all excellent! Robust and reliable. Overall practical. 6/10
Economical- Pure Freedom Trolley
It is not cheap, when you compare to other Pure WFP systems like the Gardiner backpack v3. The Pure Freedom 25litre trolley cost £375! And that is currently on offer. The Gardiner backpack v3, Pure freedom trolley and the xline 45 litre trolley 45 Litre X-Trolley Portable Trolley System(which is £480) all do a similar job but it all depends what budget you have. For Jarvis Window Cleaner the Gardiner backpack v3 is the best and the cheapest. Pure freedom trolley scores 4/10
The Pure Freedom 25litre trolley scored a total:
7/10 Thank you for reading Kind regards Matthew Jarvis Review - DrMartens Boots For Window CleaningBoots ? What Boots Do You Wear For Work?
Window cleaners know that you need a good solid boot to help you through the winter. Tom at Cleanright is new to the game and has written a review of DrMartens Brace Safety Boots
You can follow Cleanright on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/B5XsmiXJ9SM/?igshid=3t5kn2kgw27s
Let’s Talk About Boots ?
Let's talk boots!........ I used to wear a pair of standard @vans canvass shoes... However these offered zero water resistance and no durability.
So I picked up a pair of @drmartensofficial steel toe boots, specifically "DR MARTENS BRACE SAFETY BOOTS BLACK, SIZE 11" at the Screwfix fair a few months ago..... As far as comfort goes these are amazing, Due to the soles being the same material as the classic doc soles, they are bouncy, supportive and really comfortable to walk in. They are not advertised as water resistance but I have not found any issues regarding my feet getting wet but I can't imagine they are waterproof like Wellington boots, so keep that in mind. Due to the tred depth of the bottom of the sole being so deep they have a tendancy to hold on to dirt quite well, so banging the shoes together at the end of the day is a ritual I have got used to ?(I have a pic of them compared to the depth of a broken in Dr martens 1460 sole to show the difference in depth) Anyways those are my thoughts and I would love to know what boots everyone else uses... Lemme know below ?????? #windowcleaner #drmartens #drmartensstyle #windowwashing #windowcleaningresource Tom - Cleanright Good website for your cleaning comapny
Here are some reasons why having a website is a must for any business. We will examine three in this blog and in future blogs we will discuss how you can improve your own website on a low budget.
Growth
To be a Window Cleaner and to be successful in our window cleaning industry, you do not have to have a website. Many window cleaners have been established for decades and have built up a fine reputation. To be honest all you really need is a bucket, squeegee, applicator and some microfibre clothes and some water and a bit of soap and your away. For example the Window Cleaner who taught me had been cleaning in Richmond for over 40 years, he did not have a website but was successful.
However to start a window cleaning business now you do need a healthy website. According to Yell, 80% of people will look for a service online rather then a paper directory. If you want to grow your window cleaning business you need an online presence. There are lots of free companies online that will get you started. That is what we did at Jarviswindowcleaner. We started with a free website on Weebly and we are still with Weebly today.
Professionalism
Your website is the front door to your window cleaning business. Just like a shop front will explain what the customer is to expect when they enter the shop. Your website will explain, who you are, why the customer can trust your company and what services you provide. You could be the best window cleaner in the world, but if no customers can find your business then you will not get any work, right? Online advertising done professionally will help you get noticed. Of course recommendations are also a great way to get new customers and that will grow too with your website.
Modernisation
Keep up to date! Can you remember when you first heard about the WFP system? That will not work, you thought. Now you have the WFP system and you can not believe we used to climb ladders all day. It is the same with the modern world we live in, you need to keep up to date and have a healthy website site.
Do a health check on your website that will help you understand what you need to work on, next blog we will look at ways you can easily improve the health of your website.

Matthew Jarviswindowcleaner Review - #01 Gardiner Pure Water Backpack V3
Gardiner Pure Water Backpack V3 - 22 Litre review and information. Jarvis Clean we personal use this water fed pole system in our commercial window cleaning and domestic window cleaning in Surrey UK.
Is the Gardiner Pure Water Backpack V3 worth the money? Should you purchase one? Yes! However... Window Cleaning in London
I got a message from one of my contacts in London and they want a luxury apartment cleaned in central London in two days time! Do I want the hassle? Do I need the money? The answer was Yes! I needed the work.
I have successfully completed a number of builders cleans in London now and have learnt a great deal of experience from it. Check out my work! Here’s a link: https://www.jarviswindowcleaner.co.uk/ What have you experienced from window cleaning in a City? What would you recommend? Check and Prepare
Before you start any work, check and prepare. You must go on a site visit to inspect the job before you provide a quote. You need to know exactly what work needs to be done. When you prepare your quote be specific of what you will clean and what is not included.
Employ Experienced Cleaners
You will need a team of window cleaners to complete most jobs in London to make sure you finish on schedule. Use your best workers for the job. It is so important with window cleaning in London that you clean to a high standard. You do not want to get called back for not completing the job properly.
Congestion Charge and Parking
In the City you have to pay congestion charge. You can set up an automatic payment which is cheaper or pay online on the day, here is a link, https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/congestion-charge . If you forget like I did one time, it will cost you over £80!
Parking is expensive! And hard to come by. Get there early to find parking. You normally get a maximum of 4 hours of parking. That means you have to keep moving your van or car to a different location. That takes time away from your cleaning job! Charge More!
Always quote the job higher than you want which allows room for price negotiation to make your customer happy. Remember good customer service is important to having a good reputation and to win more work in the future.

https://fifewindowcleaningservices.co.uk/ Need more window cleaning work?#1 Canvassing
Going from door to door to find more window cleaning work can be hard and time consuming but it is effective. I used to go canvassing once a week when I was starting out and had some great success. 12 years later I still have some of those customers!! If you were to add up all that money made from that one customer, that would be quite a lot of cash! All from canvassing.
What you must remember about canvassing is... The dos and don’ts.✅❌ The dos: ✅ Do try it! It can be time consuming or even embarrassing to call from door to door looking for work. You will get more No’s then Yes. That can be disheartening. But do try canvassing and keep going. ✅ Identity yourself Get to the point quickly and identify who you are and why your there. ✅ Little and often! Do canvass around the work you already have to build your round up. A great line I use is: “Hi Jarvis Window Cleaners, do you need a window cleaner, we clean number so and so down your road...” ✅ Sold! Research which homes have been sold recently and canvass them. The likelihood of them signing up will be higher because chances are they don’t have a window Cleaner as a new home owner and are more likely to care more about the appearance of their new home. The don’ts ❌ No cold calling: Cold calling is not illegal. However, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 imposes restrictions on marketing via cold calls, and unsolicited texts, emails and faxes. The 2003 Regulations require companies to obtain an individual’s consent before sending marketing communications to them. If they have a “no cold calling” sign you need to respect their request. ❌ They say, “I already have a window Cleaner but... Don’t take another window Cleaners work, if they say “I already have a window Cleaner but how much do you charge?” What they are really telling you is “I’m not a loyal customer and I want a cheap window cleaner” not worth your time. You are looking for good loyal customers. ❌ don’t Look messy?♂ First impressions count! Even if your canvassing and still working look clean and smart! Keep your work van looking sharp. We recommend using: reflectiondetailing.co.uk/ Bottom line
Canvassing is a great way to win more customers, follow the ✅ do’s and ❌ don’ts and you will find results.?
