The CLX 27 water fed pole honest review by Jarvis Window Cleaner we only review products that we personally have used and we have used the Gardiner CLX 27 carbon composite pole for a number of years and we are very impressed by this pole.

We first started water fed pole window cleaning in Surrey the traditional way with squeegee tools and a ladder but as most of you are aware, working at a height is a hazard and dangerous. Nearly all my local window cleaning mates have fallen off a ladder at some point in their career and have injured themselves. Matthew fell off his ladder at Jarvis Window Cleaning in Surrey and thankful did not injure himself but realised that it was time to invest in a WFP system.

The Gardiner CLX 27 pole was recommended to us to buy as a first pole and we are pleased we did! It has been a reliable solid pole. We use it everyday and it has not failed come rain or shine. But at £215 plus VAT should you invest in one?

Price
The Gardiner CLX 27 pole is priced at £215 plus VAT. That is a good price for a water fed pole that will last you a number of years. The Gardiner CLX 27 pole is reliable it has never failed us. Over time the only thing that we need to repair is the clamps. To buy a replacement set of clamps for the Gardiner is relatively cheap and easy to install.

Is The Gardiner CLX Reliable?

Reliable
The Gardiner CLX 27 pole is the most reliable and lightweight pole we have used. There are lighter water fed poles on the market but they come at a much higher price. We have had our CLX 27 for years can not remember how long but well over 3 years and it still works and at first we were very careful with it, trying to not scratch the CLX 27 pole but now we have used and abused it, it still works fine! Great pole and super reliable.

Is The Gardiner CLX 27 Heavy?

Lightweight
This Gardiner CLX 27 pole is heavier than the Gardiner CLX 22 (obviously). Jarvis Window Cleaner we have both and use the CLX 22 all day for nearly every job but use the CLX 27 for the hard to reach or high level window cleaning. You can reach 2nd floor windows with this pole. It is lightweight and easy to use however you need to use the right technique and strength your neck and back muscles especially if you are changing from traditional window cleaning to WFP. The poles total weight is 1.8kg not including the brush head and any attachments.

Conclusion

The Gardiner CLX Carbon Composite Pole is a great water fed pole for window cleaners. That is just our opinion at Jarvis Window Cleaner. If you use a better WFP then let me know in the comments.
